Before Your Home Warranty Expires...
What is a Home Warranty Inspection?
A warranty inspection is an examination of your home by a trained and licensed home inspector prior to your home warranty expiring. This inspection is conducted to discover any deficiencies or oversights that may have been made by the builder. This is done through a visual inspection of the structure, systems and components of the home from roof to basement. This information is compiled into a computer generated report for your records. We provide digital and video documentation of all issues found.
Why have a Warranty Inspection?
The purchase of a home is major long-term expenditure. All issues should be identified and corrected before your warranty expires. Inspections are usually conducted in the 10th or 11th month of occupancy so you have time to present the findings to the builder and he has time to make the necessary corrections.
Should I be present during the Warranty Inspection?
Yes! We encourage you being present so we can discuss any issues noted and answer any questions you may have about the operation and maintenance of your home and it's components.
Do we do repairs?
No. These are repairs that should be done by the builder. All inspections are performed in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors and the American Society of Home Inspectors.
